Formerly a university research assistant, then held an associate lecturer position, though not in history. I have a Masters degree in information management. When making my videos and other content, I rely on research from professional peer reviewed, scholarly literature. I use p<\/a>rofessional academic bibliographies<\/a> and citation indexes such as Scopus<\/a>, PubMed<\/a>, and Google Scholar<\/a> to look for the scholarly consensus on the topics I investigate, weighing carefully any challenges to that consensus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I always provide my sources<\/a> in both my videos and my written articles, so you can always see where I’m getting my information from, check if I’m citing them accurately, and assess their reliability for yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
